Unlike steel reinforcing bars, GFRP rebar cannot be reshaped once they are manufactured. Various GFRP bent bar shapes can only be produced during the manufacturing process. Field bending of Glass Fibre bars is not possible.

Here at Beyond Materials factory we manufacture GFRP bent bars in a variety of shapes and diameters.

GFRP Corner and starter bars are pieces of composite GFRP bent bars which are used to connect structural sections at right angles. They enable reinforcement to continue around corners to enable a continuous pour of concrete regardless of the shape of the structure.

GFRP Ligatures are pieces of composite reinforcing bar which are used to create reinforcing steel cages. GFRP Ligatures are often used to assist in creating footing cages, pile cages, bored piers, column cages, walls and suspended beams. GFRP ligatures are available for order in regular shapes and sizes. If the size you require is not available in stock, we can manufacture ligatures to suit your custom specification requirement.

Composite GFRP Bent bar is available in 8-20 mm diameters.
