It is an effective and economically advantageous substitute to a traditional steel mesh due to its strength, low thermal conductivity and long-term retention of its qualities in aggressive environment, loads and temperature changes. Non–ferrous reinforcement mesh can also be used in construction of industrial and civil buildings in seismic regions.

Used for reinforcing of asphalt, concrete, pavements, precast products. The strength of basalt mesh is as good as metal reinforcement, however it is lighter, thereby simplifying transportation and handling in construction.
