BlackBar™ – Alkimos desalination plant WA

One of the standout projects for our team was the supply of GFRP reinforcement cages for the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant in Western Australia.

We were engaged by ACCIONA to fabricate 14 GFRP pile cages. The straight rebar and ligatures were manufactured at our factory in Queensland and shipped directly to site in WA. Our team then completed the cage fabrication on site within just a few days — saving the client tens of thousands of dollars in transport costs.

Proud to contribute to this major water infrastructure project with Australian-made, corrosion-resistant GFRP reinforcement.
